SolPak Water Heating Systems

SolPak is Rheem's active line of solar water heaters, meaning it uses a controller and pump to control the flow of thermal energy. Glycol heated in flat plate collectors mounted on the roof is run through a heat exchanger tank equipped with a backup electrical element. After transfering it's heat energy to the water through a closed loop coil in the tank, the glycol is pumped back to the flat plate collectors to be heated again.

• Two 3' x 8' collector plates / 80 gallon capacity
• Two 4' x 8' collector plates / 119 gallon capacity
• 10 year collector, 6 year tank, and 2 year pump/controller warrantees
• Qualifies for 30% tax credit of full installation costs
